وجّه إيميليانو دياز، نجل رامون دياز ومساعده في تدريب نادي الهلال السعودي سابقًا، رسالة أخيرة لجماهير ولاعبي النادي.

وكتب إيميليانو -الذي عمل مساعدًا لأبيه في الهلال-، عبر حسابه الإلكتروني الرسمي على موقع تبادل الصور "إنستغرام": "شكرًا جزيلًا لكل اللاعبين الذين منحوا كل ما لديهم من أجل النادي، شكرًا لجميع أعضاء الهلال، من مديرين وأطباء وجماهير".

وأضاف أننا "نمتلك الكثير من الحب لجماهير الهلال، كنا في حاجة للفوز بثلاث مباريات فقط في الدوري، لحسم اللقب للمرة الثانية، بذلنا أفضل ما بوسعنا لكتابة التاريخ هنا، وذهبنا إلى أبعد نقطة ممكن في آسيا".

وأردف بقوله: "لن نقول وداعًا، أنا واثق من العودة مرة أخرى للعمل مع الهلال، شكرًا للمملكة العربية السعودية، شكرًا لكم جميعًا".

Gracias a todos. Principalmente a los jugadores que dieron la vida y la van a seguir dando por este club. Que pasaron a ser mis amigos y los voy a extrañar mucho. Gracias a toda la gente del club (manager, doctores , cocineros , Utileros), y a todos los hinchas por tanto amor, los voy a llevar en mi corazón siempre. Estamos a 3 partidos de ser bicampeones, dejamos todo nuestro esfuerzo para hacer historia con este club, y creo que lo logramos, pasamos a lo mas alto del continente luego de 6 años. No es un adiós, porque siento que me sacaron de las manos la posibilidad de ganar otra copa, sabemos que podiamos dar mucho mas y por mucho tiempo al club, pero hay cosas que, por valores y educacion, no podemos permitir como Cuerpo Tecnico. يذكر أن مجلس إدارة الهلال اتخذ قرارًا بإقالة الجهاز الفني بقيادة الأرجنتيني رامون دياز، عقب خسارة الفريق 0-1 أمام استقلال طهران الإيراني في بطولة دوري أبطال آسيا.
